About me

It all started at the age of sixteen.

Iʼm 50+ years young and have been in the film and television industry since the age of sixteen. Originally training as a film cameraman working on features and dramas, I progressed to shooting magazine styled programmes for New Zealand television.

I am a cameraman that not only delivers the pictures, but has a particular eye for story telling. Specialising in adventure and reality filming, I bring stamina to productions that require their crews to bring home the goods in those often extreme working environments.

I have a comprehensive list of clients including, BBC, NHK, Freemantle media, All the Australian Channels, Discovery, National Geographic, TVNZ, TV3, Maori TV, Sky TV, and have worked all over the world honing my craft.

In the 1998, 1999, 2001 & 2007 Qantas media awards I was a finalist for Best Camera. In 2002 I won best camera In New Zealand for a television production.
